It was a very nice day for a hike in the foothills. It was a almost steady climb to our objective, the Old Man Rocks. The group, numbering about 16, past a number of other interesting rock formations. There was still snow and ice about but fortunately no serious slippery spots. The Old Man is located at the edge of an arroyo that drops of to the valley below. May be quit a sight after a heavy rain.
